But, stats and graphs only tell part of the story. Our kids have individual strengths and needs that are hard to reduce to numbers. The question becomes, "What is the best school for my son or daughter, and how do I go about finding it?"
There are three main school districts in the Coachella Valley. The west valley is served by the Palm Springs Unified School District. Mid-valley is served by Desert Sands Unified School District. The east valley is served by Coachella Valley Unified School District.
When moving to a new community with school-age children, it is important to know what schools are the best because where you live determines in which schools your children will be enrolled. Of course, intra-district transfers are possible, but not always available.
